A conversion of redundant stables into a terrace of holiday-let units. Following planning approval, I built a detailed 3D model of both the existing and the proposed structure to test how the new accommodation could sit within the old frame, then produced the Stage 4 general arrangement drawings and submitted the Full Plans application.

The design keeps the existing timber posts on display — even retaining an original door "to be left as decoration" — while threading in clerestory glazing, new insulation build-ups and the fire-escape and detection provisions each unit needs. Old fabric is celebrated; comfort and compliance are handled discreetly behind it.
