About
A determined, sustainability-led architect with a love of building history.
I have a genuine passion for sustainable architecture and architectural history. What excites me most is the chance to learn, explore, design and build environmentally responsible architecture — I believe architects have a real role to play in shaping the world and mitigating climate change.
I trained at the University of Kent (RIBA Parts 2 and 3) after an undergraduate degree in İzmir and an Erasmus year in Ferrara. My first-class dissertation compared the structural technologies of historical structures through hand-drawn sketches — work that still shapes how I think about material and place today.
I have worked across all RIBA stages on predominantly residential projects: attending client meetings, developing sketch designs, submitting planning and Building Regulations applications, preparing tender documents and liaising with contractors on site. I currently practise at Brocklehurst.
